I'm an MA student in New Zealand, and I'm currently looking at applying to some PhD programmes, probably mostly in the UK and Canada (various GRE issues are likely to prevent me from applying to the US). Okay, so I'm a little ( lot) clueless. I realized that perhaps, just perhaps, I really want to attend grad school not in Russia, but in the US. That scares the living daylights out of me. I'm thinking to apply to an anthropology program (PhD). Do you think around 1200 GRE (around 600 Verbal n 650 Quant) points is enough for an international student? I'm considering universities like Harvard, Yale, UPenn etc. Thanks for the help in advance.

Do you know whether international students get full funding at US universities (Rutgers, Yale, etc). I would be applying for a PhD in English lit. Thanks!
